How Regal Got Started

Regal Pest Control was founded in November 2000 by Tim Regal. Tim began his career at a large national pest control company, working his way up from service technician to regional manager. Along the way, he discovered that companies willing to take more time at each customer's location got better results and gave customers greater peace of mind.

He envisioned a company that operated differently. One that did not lock customers into long-term contracts. One that could deliver the kind of service he would want at his own house. With that vision, he launched Regal Pest Control.

2000

Regal Pest Control Is Founded

Tim Regal launches Regal Pest Control in November 2000. He partners with his younger brother Rob, and the company begins servicing homes and businesses through referrals from their parents' church in Mt. Clemens. In the early days, operations run out of a spare bedroom in Tim's house.

2005

First Official Office Opens

In September 2005, Regal Pest Control opens its first official office on Main Street in Downtown Plymouth, Michigan. The company spends nearly 13 years there, building a loyal customer base across Southeast Michigan.

2018

Move to Canton

In July 2018, Regal Pest Control moves to its current location in Canton to support continued growth and an expanding customer base across Wayne, Oakland, Macomb, Washtenaw, and Livingston counties.

Yes. All technicians are licensed through the State of Michigan. Many carry several certifications beyond their base license. All technicians are fully insured.
Yes. Web removal is standard for every spider service we conduct and for customers on a service plan.
Yes. All exterior treatments include treating the garage at no extra charge. All interior treatments include a perimeter treatment of the basement and all floors unless you instruct us otherwise. Attic treatment is not included in standard interior service.
Yes. We offer a $50 discount for every new customer you refer to us when that customer receives and pays for their service. There is no limit to the number of referral credits you can earn. See our referral program page for full details.
Typically about one hour for homes under 2,500 sq ft. Add approximately 20 minutes for each additional 1,000 sq ft. If activity is found, the inspection time may increase slightly. See our VA pest inspections page for more information.
