Are your pesticides safe for my family and pets?

The products we use are EPA-registered, applied by licensed technicians, and used strictly in accordance with label directions, which are legally required. They are diluted to concentrations effective against the target pest. Before your service, your technician will go over how long to stay out of treated areas and any specific instructions. If anyone in the home has a respiratory condition, asthma, or chemical sensitivity, or if you are pregnant or nursing, we ask that you consult your physician before scheduling service. We are trained in the safe application of pesticides, but we are not medical professionals, and we want you to get the right guidance from someone qualified to give it. For more information, please review our Risk/Benefit Information page before your service.

What do I need to do to prepare for my service?

It depends on the service. For most common pests like ants and cockroaches, no special preparation is needed. For bed bugs and fleas, we provide a full preparation checklist ahead of time, as those treatments require more involved prep. For general interior spray services, it helps to make sure items are not stacked against the walls so we can access the perimeter. We treat along the baseboard, right where the wall meets the floor, along the shoe molding or quarter round if you have it, using a pin stream application inside and a fan spray along the exterior foundation and first floor. We do not spray upper floors or use extension ladders on the exterior. If there are any areas you would prefer we skip, such as a child's room, a specific closet, or part of the basement, just let your technician know before they start and we will work around it. No area is treated without your knowledge.

Do I need to be out of the house during treatment?

For most interior treatments, we ask that you and your pets stay out of treated areas until the product has dried, which is typically 30 to 60 minutes. Your technician will let you know before they begin what to expect and when it is safe to re-enter. For exterior-only treatments, you generally do not need to leave at all.

What pests do you offer services for?

We offer services for ants, bed bugs, bees, beetles, birds, boxelder bugs, centipedes, chipmunks, cockroaches, crickets, earwigs, fleas, groundhogs, mice, millipedes, mites, moles, moths, opossums, raccoons, rats, silverfish, skunks, sowbugs, spiders, springtails, squirrels, stink bugs, wasps, weevils, and more. Are your technicians licensed and certified?

Yes. All technicians are licensed through the State of Michigan and certified in the pest categories relevant to the services they perform. All technicians receive extensive, ongoing training on new technologies, equipment, and treatment methods.

Do you require a contract?

No. There are no long-term contracts. Service plans are month-to-month and can be canceled at any time by phone, text, or email with no fees and no penalties.

Will you treat my garage and basement?

Yes. All exterior treatments include the garage at no extra charge. All interior treatments include a perimeter treatment of the basement and all floors unless instructed otherwise. If there is an area you would prefer we skip, just let us know.

Do you offer organic pest control?

Yes. Organic pesticides are made from plant oils and all-natural ingredients. They work comparably to synthetic pesticides on interior applications. Ask about organic options when requesting your quote.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept cash, checks, and all major credit cards. You can also make a payment online without creating an account.
