Ant Control in Southeast Michigan

Ants are the most common pest complaint in Southeast Michigan. Pavement ants, odorous house ants, and carpenter ants are the species we encounter most often. While most ants are simply a nuisance, carpenter ants are a wood-destroying insect and can cause structural damage over time if left untreated.

FAQ

Carpenter ants are a wood-destroying insect. They excavate galleries inside wood to build their nests, which can weaken structural timbers over time. Unlike termites they do not eat the wood, but a large established colony can cause significant damage.
Ant activity may continue briefly after treatment as workers contact treated surfaces. Most ant problems resolve within a few days to two weeks of treatment. If activity persists beyond that, contact us for a free re-service.
Pavement and odorous house ants often return seasonally. A service plan provides ongoing coverage and re-services as needed to keep them under control year-round.
